Lee Bailey (1929)

Lee enjoyed a very successful career with the Crane Company, the world’s largest pipe, valve, and fitting manufacturer where he rose from truck driver to manager of the Cleveland branch. For twenty five years, he conducted his own business as a manufacturer’s representative. Lee was an active member of the Lions Club for forty years and was active with All Saints Episcopal Church. Lee was instrumental in the creation of the PSHS Alumni Association, for which he served as president, vice-president, historian, and treasurer. Lee is considered a “Founding Father” of the PSHS Alumni Association.

Rosemarie Benya, Ph.D. (1946)

Dr. Benyahas presented at conferences locally, nationally, and internationally on the subject of foreign language education. During her tenure as president of the Oklahoma Foreign Language Teachers Association, she established the First International Conference on Second/Foreign Language Acquisition by Children.  Rosemarie served as a Fulbright Fellow in (Czecho) Slovakia where she taught English language practice courses and American culture classes and conducted inservice work with elementary teachers of English.

Joseph Bosoty (1946)

Following a military stint in Korea, Joseph took charge of the family business, Ridge Records until his retirement in 1956. He served the community of Parma through his membership in such organizations as Parma and Parma Heights Kiwanis Clubs, He served as President of the Parmatown Merchants Association, participating in such events as Fun on the Fourth, the Christmas Parade, and other community events. For twenty years Joseph taught music at Cuyahoga Community College. He strongly supported the Parma Schools in many ways, such as supervising the Parma Senior High School saxophone quartet.

Thomas Good (1960)

Tom Good achieved great success in the field of accounting and finance. He was a Senior Partner with the prestigious international accounting firm Arthur Anderson & Co. His career encompassed a wide spectrum of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas distribution, construction and natural resources. He served as Director of the Audit and Accounting Standards Committee of the Ohio Society of CPA’s. He is actively involved with community affairs, oftentimes in a leadership position, notably Trustee and Treasurer of the Cleveland Playhouse, Councilman of Hudson Village, member of the Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Church, President of the Parma Kiwanis Club, President of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Cleveland, and member of the Brecksville Planning Commission.

Sallie Jorgenson Bright (1947)

Sallie taught physical education and health for many years at Parma Senior High School. She also attained a law degree, practicing primarily in the realm of domestic relations, where she tirelessly fought for human rights. Sallie served on the executive board of the Cleveland Women Lawyers Association and was a member of the National Women Lawyers Association. She was a lecturer in business law at Michigan State University, as well as an assistant professor and staff counsel in the Department of Human Relations. She volunteered at St. Lawrence Hospital where she re-wrote the bylaws of this large organization.

Kathy Wielicki Lamancusa (1973)

Kathy served on the Board of Directors of her local Chamber of Commerce where she participated in many community projects and programs. Her primary interest was working with youths as they navigate the treacherous waters of their teenage years. She worked with several youth groups as a volunteer advisor and coach. Kathy was active with the Hoover speech team and attended Teen Institute Weekend training camps to teach teens to become role models and leaders against alcohol and drug abuse. She authored 28 floral and crafts books, co-authored 10 others, and produced 15 instructional videos.

Kay Print Janney (1955)

Kay taught Drama, Speech, and English for five years before moving to the University of Connecticut where she devoted twenty-eight years in the disciplines of speech and drama. Her fields of specialization were theater by and for young and family audiences, using drama in education and aesthetic education. She has a national reputation due to extensive workshop design and leadership, journal and play writing, and service to regional, national, and international professional organizations. Among her numerous awards is the Connecticut Distinguished Friend of Education.

James S. Peck (1967)

Jim was responsible for the startup and development of the internal design department at TRW’s Automotive Aftermarket Division and TRW’s world headquarters. He also helped design and develop many nationally and internationally produced projects and publications for several corporations. Jim is a leader in his church, was the founder of the Dads and Daughters organization, is a Life Member of the Ohio PTA, and has been active in countless community activities, including the American Cancer Society’s Bike Marathon and various hunger centers.

Martin Vittardi (1973)

While in college, Marty served as a Congressional Assistant for the United States Congress. He has served as Deputy Clerk for Cuyahoga County Probate Court.  He represented numerous labor organizations at a state and national level. As Public Service Director for Parma, he supervised city matters in Community Development, Purchasing, Personnel, Recreation, Streets and Sewers, and more. Marty has been involved with the Cuyahoga County Democratic Executive Committee, served as Parma Councilman, and has been a strong supporter of the Parma City Schools.
