Hall of Fame Inaugural Inductions 2007 Robert Boulton (1957) Bob had a very distinguished athletic career at Parma Senior High School in baseball, basketball, football, and track. He received several awards for leadership and sportsmanship. Following a stellar baseball career at Bowling Green University, Bob served his country in the Army. He coached baseball briefly at BGSU before returning to Parma where he enjoyed a thirty-one year career from 1965-1996 as a teacher, administrator, and coach. Bob taught Physical Education and coached a variety of sports. Bob held leadership positions in several professional organizations. He was a very active Trustee on the Board of the Friends of Byers Field Foundation. The stadium of Byers Field is named in his honor for a career of great loyalty and service to the Parma City Schools. Robert Brugge (1944) Bob is one of Parma Senior High School’s greatest athletes. Hall of Fame Inaugural Inductions 2005 Joseph W. Coleman (1953) Joe worked with Ohio Bell/America for forty-two years. He served on the Board of Directors of the Telephone Credit Union for thirty-nine years, as President for twenty years. Joe was also a trustee for the Parma Community Hospital for eighteen years, including eleven years as Chairman. In 2002 the Parma Chamber of Commerce honored Joe with the Pride Award in recognition for outstanding service to the community. Joe was also a councilman for the City of Seven Hills. Kent M. Geist (1967) Kent served on the staff of WVIZ/PBS for thirty-seven years and received Emmy Awards for two programs. He has been involved with the Cleveland Today television show and the Cleveland Health Museum. Kent serves on the advisory board for Hospice of the Western Reserve. He is a Trustee of the Cassidy Theater in Parma Hts. Kent has supported the Parma City Schools and community through his participation on various school committees, Friends of Byers Field, and as chairman of a Parma Schools levy campaign. Hall of Fame Inaugural Inductions 2003 Kurt Liebert (1944) Kurt was a researcher for NASA. He held a number of patents for inventing thermal barrier coatings. Kurt was a recipient of NASA’s Manned Flight Awareness Award and Industrial Research magazine’s IR 100 Award. He was active in the Parma Symphony and many other community activities. Kurt served as an Army Infantryman in World War II. William M. Lynk (1975) William is a genuine Renaissance man, achieving success in a vast array of venues. He was a vocal/choral director at Akron Firestone High School, ranked top school in the state of Ohio. He developed a music program at Detroit’s inner city Harms Elementary School where he was recognized as “Teacher of the Year”.  William introduced superior music programs for under-privileged students at the Fine and Performing Arts Academy - West and Howe Elementary School.   William has been successful in the modeling industry, dinner theater management, real estate and financial arenas.
